Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre (GSM) is a famous blend originally from the Côtes du Rhône region of France. We selected the best Paso Robles has to offer from over 20 of our vineyards to create this divine wine. Our GSM is aged in French Oak barrels to bring out rich flavors and a silky-smooth finish.
Because our GSM is Syrah dominant, the body is bold, rich, dark and inky. The Grenache and Mourvedre harmonize well to create a perfect balance.
The softer Grenache produces the red berry fruit flavors including strawberry, pomegranate and cherry while the Syrah lends dark berry fruit flavors like blackberry, acai and fig. The Mourvedre adds notes of earth tones, smoked meats, and slight tannin.
Enjoy our GSM with hearty dishes like herb crusted rack of lamb or a rosemary grilled porterhouse. GSM pairs perfectly with gamy meats or rich and fatty red meats. Pair with perfectly aged Gouda and aged hard Cheddar.
